Proudly Introducing... The North East Nipple Project

The Northeast Nipple Project is a not for profit organisation, created by Megan Jones and Amanda Patterson. Our story began when we both developed our skils in semi permanent make up treatments, after which our passion increased when during lockdown we were lucky enough to complete a training course in Areola Tattooing. After which we both then became very aware that this type of service is not easily accessible by women who have had breast surgery which could potentially improve their confidence and help them move forward to the next chapter of their life.

Our aim is to provide Areola tattooing for women who have undergone a mastectomy and breast reconstruction as a result of breast cancer, this service will be provided free of charge. We will be running clinics in Durham and Wallsend, accessible to all women in the North East wishing to have this treatment.
